Learn about electricity and magnetism through a series of analogies.
A wacky science teacher puts his classes into crazy situations to help them visualize the science behind electricity and magnetism. Ski slopes, a race track, a town with craters, and even a military compound, each chapter is loaded with imagery that will help you understand the basics of electricity.
This short story was written for Dr. Wolf's seventh grade physical science classes as a way to teach and support the electricity unit. There's even a little grammar lesson or two tossed in there. It has been used every year since 2010 with great results.
To the 1,500 (and counting!) students I’ve had the honor and joy of teaching, this work is for you; for inspiring me everyday, for asking questions, for keeping me on my toes, and for al-ways keeping me young.
Thank you for everything.
